Our favorite stories growing up were the ones sitting around our grandparents’ dinner tables, listening to their stories, year after year. RYE is all about recreating some of those front-porch chats and the Christmas Eve fireplace storytelling—asking questions about love, life, and advice to pass on to the next generation. This is a slice of life podcast featuring the simple, beautiful lives we lead, told by the folks with a few more years under their belt. Pour some tea, beer, or a nice cold Coke and enjoy a couple tales with us!
Meet Nick & Ingrid
We are two young people that share an affinity for all things old. Our idea of a good day involves a slow morning with coffee and John Prine, followed by antiquing, walking by one of the lakes in Minneapolis, and capped with a grilled cheese and an Old Fashioned. We feel so grateful to have met our guests on RYE and look forward to collecting and hearing more stories that make us all human.
